Desire 1936 Lobby Card 11x14 Original USA.Desire is a 1936 American romantic crime comedy-drama film directed by Frank Borzage, starring Marlene Dietrich and Gary Cooper, and produced by Borzage and Ernst Lubitsch. The picture is a remake of the 1933 German film Happy Days in Aranjuez. Of the film, Dietrich said: The only film I need not be ashamed of is Desire. Desire became a good film and, moreover, also proved to be a box-office success.
