Australian One Sheet Poster.Flesh for Frankenstein is a 1973 horror film written and directed by Paul Morrissey. It stars Udo Kier, Joe Dallesandro, Monique van Vooren and Arno Juerging. Interiors were filmed at Cinecittà in Rome by a crew of Italian filmmakers. The gory special effects are an early example of the work of Carlo Rambaldi who would later go on to do the special effects for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982).The film was controversial with explicit sex scenes and viloent death scenes. Consequently it has a cult following today.The poster here is from the Australian release in 1974 under the slightly different title Andy Warhol's Flesh For Frankenstein.
