Its large ensemble cast includes, Ned Beatty, Karen Black, Keith Carradine, Geraldine Chaplin, Shelley Duvall, Scott Glenn, Jeff Goldblum, Barbara Harris, Lily Tomlin just to name a few. Nashville was released in the summer of 1975, and opened with widespread critical acclaim, praising the ensemble cast and soundtrack. It garnered numerous accolades, including five Academy Award nominations and winning for Best Original Song for Carradine's track "I'm Easy".
