Running from the Guns (originally known as Free Enterprise) is a 1987 Australian crime thriller film directed by John Dixon and starring Jon Blake, Mark Hembrow, Nikki Coghill, Terence Donovan, and Bill Kerr. It is a buddy action film set in Melbourne and was filmed in late 1985. The storyline went as follows: Peter and Dave work in a tough dockside suburb in Melbourne, where things have a habit of falling off the back of trucks. They innocently end up with someone else's cargo but returning it to its rightful owners is made difficult by drug dealers whose henchmen do business with machine guns and blowtorches. Running From The Guns was the last film to get a theatrical release for Jon Blake having being involved in a car accident in 1987 that ended his acting career. This film now enjoys a cult following amongst car enthusiasts.
